Out by the 'ol fishin' spot lately before them rebels and coppers scare 'em off, scavengers poachin' the lake were a pain in the arse before but this is getting mighty ridiculous! I drew me line out and expected a bite in at least around twenty minutes, but by Bluebeard's beard I got a snag in less than two! Too heavy to be a leech and I was certainly hoping it weren't, fer it's beyond this ol' fisherman how those folks at St. Olga stand the damn things.
Either me own hubris or disturbin' the spirits of the lake I were unable to draw it in fer the life of me. Somethin' were mighty strange in these waters as I tugged and tugged, I swore I could 'ave felt somethin' rather large brush past me legs! I ain't no coward but I 'aven't caught anything bigger than an ichthyosaur in this 'ere lake. It were big too and if me ol' mind could fathom a color it'd be red or black? A darkish red at least I think. Either way I weren't gonna wait for it to snap me line, so off it went for now...
Still not the only strange thing I found in these lakes. By chance I found one of those yeller hazmat fellers being escorted by them cops, dumpin' stuff by that tunnel pipe, pollutin' my beautiful stream! Damn fool even dropped their yeller box too, that' serve 'im for violatin' Neptunes vast streams! Either way that's my prize now but I'll 'ave to get that catch before it moves on!
It'll take more than me ol' harpoon and rod I'll tell ya that fer nothin'! Therefore I'm goin' to bring out me buried treasure to stick an end to this 'ere catch. This'll make me rich or at least fill me belly up for the next month! Nothin' cuts through thick blubber like a piece of heated rebar, eh? Not like I'm concerned about destroyin' some of the meat, there's enough to feed a small town, rations be damned!
