This has been the second disruption thus far, initially I was ready to narrow this down as a logistical error but this all goes well beyond this. All the listed subjects I was expecting have been destroyed... save one. Normally this is nothing to raise concern over but coincidentally this subject was especially dear to the pestilence.

I am not blind that this was a deliberate assault to rescue her, but I have been blind to the levels of incompetence that has been on display here. How am I supposed to show that you are la crème de la crème of the transhuman forces when you cannot stop some workcamp inmates? It gives us even greater cause to accelerate development of A-1-6 to compensate for below acceptable losses. Already they have killed a worthy specimen B-6-4 in City 30's stalkerization facility river. That squid was my pride and joy, now it rots outside getting pecked away by seagulls and crows. Let us hope that one of these malignants are idiotic enough to consume its remains, at least then the unstable mutagens will cause severe terminal illness if not asphyxiate them outright.

Let me make this clear to you 843, you are now worth the combined value of 626, 120, and B-6-4. Currently you fail to act like this is the case. There was half a mind among myself and high command to revoke your requests for additional rank privileges, but if they will enhance performance then so be it. Enhancements will be delivered soon, just prove for once that 6th Battalion is worthy of them. The missing subjects constitute a far greater debt than any augments you can ever hope to receive.

Time is the only resource that truly matters.

Using the RPF to save face from the takeover of Station 22 is about the only cunning move I have seen from your command and even that is a charitable remark. I doubt any effort at all was expended your forces to take the security of City 30 seriously. As for their failure, the rest of the Rural Police units will be sent back to Worksite 14 to rebuild Dispatch node 0188 with added security this time around. It is a miracle that the train line remains intact including the restrictor network. Largely all of this boils down to the RPF's ineptitude, although whether this was solely their fault or 626's short-sightedness is irrelevant. We cannot rely on these particular units to guard anything more than a thrift store or even worse, not turn on us when another train of prisoners arrive.

To remedy this, certain RPF officers have been 'accidentally' mixed up into the worker roster and they will enjoy their new position working down in the mines at Worksite 14, relieved of the burden of carrying those batons around for pickaxes instead. The rest will know their place and probably revel in tormenting their former squad leaders. They all better pray that the next break-out attempt does not result in their former identities being leaked. Maybe that and the added presence of reserve OTF will prevent a repeat of that disaster. Worksite 14's experiment shall continue and 65001 has informed me that promising results are coming along for mutagen procedure A-1-6.

Now at this rate we will be on course to test its effectiveness soon as we gather enough data. While I am led to believe the survivors of that camp are starting to slowly die off, many retain a cult-like influence over local discontents in the respective regions they pass through. Many join their call to arms, inspired by their fantasies of revenge and perceived injustice. I want to put a roadblock before this plague spreads, therefore we are pulling conscripts from the Eastern Ukraine region and have the HORIZON detachment on standby in the Russian sectors. One by one they perish, yet they still carry dangerous magical thinking that will only result in further loss of life. If there is still a human side to you 843, know that I have given them many opportunities to cease their pointless struggle.

I hope you do not mind me including senior HORIZON personnel as recipients to this message, because either way you will learn to work with them more closely in future.

What has taken your forces around a month to apprehend vital subjects, HORIZON have done in the matter of days. I owe it to a lack of reliance on implants that likely cloud some tactical judgement in the OTF units. Then again, City 98 will soon be back under our control and even the most organized of the human infection fighting there have posed no where near this much trouble on such a small scale. Quite strange is it not?

Initially I believed Worksite 14 to be a failure, yet it may prove to bring us unexpected benefits. These particular malignants has forged themselves into a highly motivated fanatical group of fighters, some of them anyhow. I figure the controlled test environment created conditions that have encouraged a certain robustness in the escapees. This cluster of subjects show great promise in their determination to evade us and for good reason. Whatever force they are building would create perfect templates for A-1-6 infusion. I have held this back for a long time now, but I think it is time to send some special units their way. You are authorized to now begin OPERATION CLEAN-UP.


As with two prisoners their minds are inflexible to reason although everyone's psyche has a limit. Thankfully that Iranian's supply of additional 'resources' means we are not short on backups. He is one loose end taken care of at the very least. Yet this brings me onto my next point of contention, the loss of an entire harvesting operation in City 30 and now Dr. Thekla's escape. Entire batches of materials were lost in what is now an underground crypt, with some units still trapped down there. They were not afforded the same escape, even now I can see their faint bio-signals pinging out.

You might have noticed the RPF squad placed to cover your retreat, my last token of forgiveness. You can no longer use them as an excuse anymore for such a huge display of operational failure.
