Origin:
Mercenaries are not a new sight in the zone. This much has been known for the past few years, many bearing the logo of the Blue Eagle. Yet, something has begun to appear with some Mercs, and even some aspiring Loners tagging along. A mirror logo of a Wolf right underneath the Eagle. Formed as a squad of Hunters, Thrill seekers, and dedicated fighters. The Pack exists as a sort of proving ground, and honor seeking group of Veteran Mercs, and Loners aspiring to join the ranks of the Eagle.
While not exactly a splinter group, and more a squad within the Blue Eagles themselves. The Pack has shown itself to only be interested in the thrills the Zone has to offer. With fights and glory galore being promised. Maybe some other things, like freaky scars and loyalty rituals. But that's just rumors.
Purpose:
The Pack exists for the primary purpose of being a close knit squad first and foremost. Contract sharing, food sharing, medical aid, and companionship for members. No member is left behind, but all members allowed to be their own fighters.
While not exactly coming with a philosophy, it has showcased a new mindset among Mercs. The idea of inducting Loners to become Mercs themselves through proving themselves. This remains to show if it works.
Enlistment:
Enlistment in the Pack is very much a case of seeking out members of the squad. Typically its Mercs only, with Loners only being allowed in with a member vouching for them. Though like anything in the Zone, it's likely not a concrete policy.
