Biography: William Perez was born in 1944 to a decorated World war 2 Veteran Soldier and a 2nd generation Mexican immigrant woman in Hoquiam, Washington. He was often bullied by white students for being mixed race but it didn't stop him from graduating high school. After graduating, William chose to continue his family's legacy of being heroes by becoming a firefighter. Throughout the years of fighting through fires and getting burned and saving lives, he is decorated and promoted to Lieutenant of the Hoquiam fire department.
