History

ร–๐–—๐–๐–†๐–“ is a young man, just entering his early 20s. At a young age, he was separated from his family by the Combine and sent into work camps. Where he was taught how to become useful, and learned how to fix both cars and factorial style machines. Which he later joined up into the Civil Worker's Union in his late teens. After a year or so of mistreatment and missing meals, he decided to risk it all and do work for the City's resistance. Mostly being a courier. He didn't ask questions, just took a package(s) from A to B.

But soon, his rookie luck came close to ending. He got caught by a few RPF units whilst transporting information about a convoy moving shipments of meds, weapons, and ammunition to one of the cells in the slum district. However, one of the RPF units, Keith, took pity on him and decided to rescue ร–๐–—๐–๐–†๐–“ from his predicament by escaping with him to this resistance cell.

The start of ร–๐–—๐–๐–†๐–“ having to rely on Keith as time went on, and seeing him as that role model in his life. Training him in police tactics, how to fight, and having saved him countless more times, but ร–๐–—๐–๐–†๐–“ has managed to repay the favor in turn. Leads to him becoming a Resistance member with Keith.

(New Entry, 06/10/2025) Ever since the loss of both Keith, his adoptive father, and Rudy, his adoptive uncle, in the Caspian Desert. Something inside him broke. Internally, he felt nasty towards the Worksite 14 survivors. But he still continued assisting them, all for Bai's sake. Or at least, that's what he told himself. Truth be told, ever since he lost those two, he became distant with her.

During the remainder of his time in City 30, he began to exhibit self-destructive tendencies. He wasn't being as tactful during Operations, and it constantly led him to injuries. Led on by his blinding rage and bloodlust for Doctor Frost, ever since he witnessed one of Frost's creations haul around his adoptive father's mutilated corpse in City 30's sewers.

This behavior led to a near-death experience in City 30 nexus's train depot. Himself and Dr. Thekla wondered off, trying to look for another way for Worksite 14's group to continue deeper as they were looking for that traitorous Caspian Merchant. A SOLACE unit had ambushed the both of them, and Sven manages to survive an intensely grazing wound from a 9x19mm round, along the right side of his head. After this, the unit captures Dr. Thekla. It's safe to say, something broke in his mind ever since this injury. Though he managed, just barely conscious, to help save the Doctor.

Ultimately, that day, it's safe to assume something broke inside him. But after this, they managed to leave the Caspian Desert, and get into the Outlands towards Pripyat. During the first half of the region, he manages to make a recovery. But as soon as he does, this leads to Sven witnessing Bai's gruesome killing from a Conscript Humvee, in the middle of camp. And that is when something in him snapped, and he ultimately chose to chase after the HORIZON squadron that ambushed the group. This leads to his capture.

He reappears after a couple week's time, having claimed to of escaped. But something was off, which leasd to the truth from one of Sven's mental breakdown a week later. He was purposely set free, sent back to the Worksite 14 survivors to spy on them for HORIZON after having been given memory replacement treatment. And soon after, his handler, Nora, was eventually captured by Lucas. After a few days, this leads to a confrontation between Sven & Nora, and Worksite 14. Ultimately, Nora was executed by Chance Vice, right in front of him. Nothing between him and his handler was romantical, per say, but there was something between them. For some reason, he felt less empty around her. And seeing her die, something dark began to take control over him.

During this intense situation, the rebel cell's base was being assaulted by HORIZON. Leaving Sven & Dr. Thekla outside as the others ran inside. After Sven said his 'goodbyes' to Nora, him and the doctor were coming inside. That's when he doubles back outside as the door closes, and attempts a full on escape. As he was running away, he ends up being heavily injured, the last time they saw him. He's presumed dead from the life threatening injuries. Yet months later...

In City 98, as Worksite 14 was pushing into the City. The previously presumed dead Sven spoke over the district's P.A. system. Throughout the final week, pleading with Worksite 14 to either surrender or full on retreat from City 98 while they could. Yet on the last day, before the push, he gave them a cold, disconnected warning. He understood that the Worksite 14 group did not intend to stop their push into City 98's nexus, assisting MRC to invade the Citadel. And he warned them that they were not returning alive.

The only other faint connection that could be made for Sven, after the P.A. system goes silent, was within the Nexus. There was a HORIZON unit in fresh-garb, as if it just came out fresh from the factory. Walking alongside Commander Peterovich, Ms. Satou, & Dr. Frost.

The way this unit was dressed, how their kit was set up. It was very, eerily similar to Sven's loadout. That HORIZON unit gave one last glance up at the Worksite 14 group as they pushed into the Nexus's cellblock. Then as the Commander pats the Unit's shoulder, he turns to the Peterovich and speaks with a patriotic "After you, Sir.", and proudly followed after the towering Commander. Having turned his back on Worksite 14 as they leave.

Relationships (@ me in comments to be added)

| Deceased | Raging Bloodlust | Hostile | Hate | Dislike | Neutral | Like | Protect Asset |
Worksite 14 Survivors: Ever since Bai showed up with you all at our doorstep, I knew you guys were trouble. But I let it slide since Keith did. But now that my family's gone? All I can feel in my chest is this deep, burning desire of hate. Not to any one individual, but to this group. As it is now, you all have a lot of fucking learning to do.
(New 03/24) It felt...honestly warming to come back, and feel /acknowledged/. I genuinely felt like like a fly on a wall, after we left City 30. And it just...bothered me. We still have growth to go, but, I'll try this time.
---
Demitra, Ruskie Lady: She's one of the few tolerable ones of the bunch. Defensive for her hookah, but gave genuine vodka. Would like to be friends.
(03/09) You've proven your worth, you do your best to be useful in your own way. Even as a marksman, you seem to show heart. Seem to mostly remind me of one of those pre-war animals, called a honey badger. You've got work to do, but if you survive long enough, I'm sure people will know your name.
(03/24) You were a sight for sore eyes. I did not realize how you felt about me until I stumbled upon you guys and you ran up to hug me. You seemed to of had, and still have, my back. I appreciate the help and welcome.
(New 03/30) I know you didn't do anything wrong, against. One of the few I see as a friend, maybe even a sister. An annoying, foreign little sister. But still, someone that matters.
---
Kairos Agon: A Greek lady, but is friendly enough. Would like to beat her at poker at some point, though.
(03/09) I'm sorry we haven't mingled a lot, since Keith passed. I heard from Dirk about what happened, what everyone did. As much as I would say that I understood /why/ you did it, you still went halfcocked. I understand this was one person you deeply care about, but you can't recklessly risk the rest of your family for this one person. But she is alive. And it was thanks to your eagerness. I hope she was worth yours, and my family's, lives.
---
Lucas Leavitt: A man I've not spoken to a lot, seems to be like one of the few leaders of this Worksite crew that's welcomed themselves in. Seems alright.
(03/09) You do your best when you're aware and not as hurt. You make sure no one holds all the weight on a singular set of shoulders, and you're as good as a fighter as you can be for someone of your situation.
(03/24) You were also a surprise, hearing you mention about you trying to look for me made me happy. I genuinely felt hopeless, until I bumped into you lot again. Which was a genuine surprise you guys are still here, but I am not complaining.
(New 03/30) You encircle me and Nora while we're outside, you aim your gun around like some cowboy, and you tackle me before I could comply and probably not make Chance shoot the one thing that was brightening my dark tunnel. Now I don't know how to get out, and I feel fucking stuck. You, and that damned Greek cunt have constantly taken my family from me over your own.
---
Brooklyn McGowan: This mixed band of refugee's head medic. You meant a lot to a few people, and I understand that. But because they cared about you too much, they forced Keith's hand to help you and your people. Just for an Operation to save you, turn into a trap and cause the people I care about to die. Just for the second Operation to save you, to have more people die for you. I sometimes think to myself if saving one life is worth all this death, and I know Keith would probably kick my shit in if he ever read this entry. But I just...can't forgive you, nor your people, the trouble you cause us. You forced your problems on us, and we paid the price. We paid, /a lot/.
(03/24) Being in a cell let me have a lot of time to re-evaluate a lot of things. About myself, and others. I, most definitely, owe you an apology. Even if a small part of me is still a petty kid, you didn't exactly ask to be in your current position as I didn't ask for mine. And you deserve some better treatment than I was originally giving you.
---
Elizabeth 'Reines' Reyes: A former CIC worker, or at least that's what someone told me when I asked about you and your homemade lab back in Outpost Omega. You seem to try to keep a level head on your shoulders, and we need as many of those as we can get. Plus, you fight till everything that poses a threat is gone. A rare thing to see.
(03/24) Back at the train station, being barely conscious, just for me to hear you call me 'deadweight' and to leave me behind. It...angered me. Genuinely. You most likely won't care for my feelings, and that's fine. But when I fought for you to survive the growth back at City 26, I expected you to have my back as I had yours. But it's clear I can't trust you again as I thought I could. At least, not for now.
---
Morgan Hess: I may of not known you long, but so far you helped me keep my wits about myself. You're nice, and try to make light of the situation for those around you, even while you're suffering from your own faults. I like that about you.
(03/24) Hearing your file, about what you were and what you did. It's not something I can just forget. I need to look into you, insure you're not a threat.
(New 03/30) You're part of the reason why everything went to shit. Non-stop constantly putting thoughts of doubt into peoples' heads. And it escalated too far. I'll make sure you get what you deserve.
---
Maddison '303' Whitney: You're...just an outright anomaly. A former rogued officer who claims to of just wanted the position of power so people wouldn't be bothering you. But that tells me you'd do anything to others, just to get by. And you're also a junkie...I can't exactly harp on how people medicate themselves, and your rogue past makes me weary of you. But so far, you are fine. Even if a bit of a weirdo.
(03/24) Coming back, you were the most surprising person to find coming to give me some form of assistance, and 'checking on me', in your own little way. Something that threw me off. I appreciated the clothes and the smokes, even if I didn't wear the former. I will, eventually.
(New 03/30) I know things started off shifty between us, but you eventually grew on me. And I grew to like you, as you seemed to of 'tolerated' me, at the very least. I'm sorry for rocking the boat and making it complicated for you.
---
Faith Walker: The first day I worked with you, we had to deal with one of the most horrific assets of the Union. A Quisling. Mostly everyone had been effected by it, and then you promptly jumped on me to deck me across the face. My first thought was 'this bitch'. But after all was said and done, and everyone got back to the Outpost fine. You made sure everything was alright, and I understand that wasn't you back there. I hold nothing against you, you have a good heart, a decent marksman, and a swift right hook.
---
James Doyle: You, Faith, and Raines pushed with me towards the Stalkerization Facility with me leading. You had both bravery and brains when it counted, and did a good job like the other two. Plus you're a decent shot, from what I've noticed.
---
Samiha '161' Kattan: An odd cat I don't see a lot, but when I do and we chat, you seem pretty decent. And one of the few smart ones to not put yourself in danger unless it's needed. Wish I took that advice more often.
(New 03/30) I'm sorry things went down the way they did. But I couldn't handle it anymore. I knew eventually someone was going to put a gun to my head if they felt paranoid enough. I'm tired of it. But you were one of the good ones, I saw. Keep your head up.
---
Chance Vice: A decent man. Seems to be a former cop from the Worksite, but doesn't let it be known too much. Got your head on straight, and willing to help when you can. It's much needed.
(New 03/30) You took one of the few things important to me.
---
Keith Sullivan (KIA): He's my mentor, and has saved me more than once. I owe him a lot, and look up to him. But I won't tell him that, at least not all the time.
I'm sorry. I'm sorry for not being there, to help you. I'm sorry I couldn't make your death painless as you deserved. You deserved to die an old man, but they took it away from you. And I can't stand it. All they do is take, and take, and take. They keep taking from me, I've always kept myself away from them but they've been taking from me the moment they've invaded Earth. I've had enough. I'm going to make sure I take something they can't replace.
---
Rudy Ondracek (MIA, presumed KIA): The craftsman of our group. Pretty handy, too. But I plan to try and beat him at poker, hopefully get enough store credit to make something fierce when we get his shop back again.
I'm sorry, Rudy. I know you didn't deserve what happened. You always said to keep out of others' business, that it was their problems. But then we got to talking, about how they could be our ticket out of this desert. And I know I did say I'd do anything to leave the desert, but if I knew the price would be you and Keith, I'd take it all back. I'd let them hang dry in a fucking heart beat, if it means I get another moment with you two. You were my family. I'm fucking tired of them taking my family from me.
---
Bai Liuxian (KIA): She has heart, see her as one of the few good ones in the Resistance. Even if the others or I don't like it, I'll still back up her choices. She'll need someone to depend on, if it comes down to it.
You just had to be the one to go. We just left the Caspian Desert, and we got to a new place. On the path to a new home. Just to watch you be taken away from that path, taken away from me. It's just me. Damn this world. I am fucking tired. What am I going to do, Bai? I can't get myself out of this.
---
'Poltergeist': Something about you is off. Maybe I'm coming at you too strong to demand your loyalty, but you're sneaking around. But everyone's got a little something broken in them in this world. And anyone who says that they don't, is a liar. I don't know, I just hope my assumptions and paranoia is proven wrong.
---
'Jackal': Poltergeist's friend, a voice over the radio. You both have your charms, but just like your friend, something feels off with you. I hope I'm wrong, but I can't risk not being careful. Not after others' recent mistakes.
---
Dr. Thekla Schwarzkopf: From first impressions, even with the language barrier, you seem like a decent woman. Definitely would like your expertise with this crew, whenever you can give it.
(03/24) Helped protect me when I was at my weakest, back at the train station. I simply feel like I owe you the same courtesy to protect your life as you did mine. Not many people would step in front of me to block a gun, without hesitation. Even with your 'attitude' of your smarts, you still showed your human side. Or maybe also played into your value, when you could. Regardless, all I can do is try my best to protect you, and to thank you.
(New 03/30) Not only did you shoot someone important to me, after they were already dead, but then you shoot me when I didn't want to stay. You spoke to me like my feelings didn't matter anymore, when she died. As if you risking your life for me and I risking mine for yours before, meant nothing. I'm tired of being taken advantage of like a pawn.
---
'Brick': Doctor Thekla's bodyguard and translator, by the looks of it. Decent man, not afraid to speak his mind when he wants to, so that's a plus.
---
JUDGE.01-00344: I don't exactly like the idea that you're a new face, and immediately pushing yourself into a position of leadership. Especially being a former cop, and all. But if the Doctor trusts you, I'll hold my tongue and watch what you can do.
(New 03/30) You always back up their shitty decisions. Throw your shit at me and act like you're the only guy of value. It pisses me off.
---
Arthur Evans: We picked you up in City 26, and your help was for sure needed, and appreciated by me. Even if a smaller guy than me, you're still a tough bulky guy. Stay around, for me, will ya'?
(New 03/30) You're a good man. As much as we have interacted, I could tell you care a lot. I know I was and still am troubled, but you kept your head on straight. Something this crew will need a lot of. Please be safe. I'm sorry for causing you problems, at the end.
---
UU.HRZN.i1-00144, 'Nora': I know I saw 26650 up on the hill, I thought he was going to help us. Instead, I ended up getting you killed. I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. I couldn't even hold my promise to you, let alone keep you alive.
---
UU.HRZN.i2-26650: An alright guy. You made me a wood carving of a lynx cat. I can appreciate the handiwork and craftsmanship, that's for sure.
---
UU.HRZN.CMD-106??: I'm sorry for getting someone close to you killed, Sir. I feel like I owe you everything. And even then, I know it's not enough to bring them back. You kept your word, and I haven't. There won't be a second failure.

If you want to see your character in the relationships, don't forget to @ me. I usually have a brain fart and forget to add people on.

Updated a lot about the relationships and his active status. o7

I decided to take the time to update this weirdo's history, as I realize there's a lot more new peeps now in the group. To hopefully help explain who the weird guy over the PA system was.

Also if you think I should update or add more peeps to relationships, let me know! I do know it can use an update, but I most likely won't unless I'm poked about it.
