Within the small hovel survivors call home is a crude set of papers stuck to a plywood board. Colored pencils, crayons, pens, anything that people have gotten their hands on to write lie scattered nearby. The only true barrier against the hordes of undead at humanity's collective doorstep is effective communication and planning.

This board, while archaic, provides lists of tasks and supplies, as well as other noteworthy messages for one survivor to pass to another.

This is William Haynes, some people know me as GatorMan from that old TV show. I'm putting this up here so we can start listing what we need done. It is December 7, 2018.

Winter is on its way.
The Dead have risen.
The Government Safe Zones have fallen.
It's dark in New Orleans.

But don't despair. We have hands. We have courage. Courage to do what needs to be done and get what we need to get.

I am tasking any and all working bodied to start sourcing the following:

1. Medical Supplies

2. Clothing

3. Shelter items (tents, tarps, sleeping bags, etc.)

4. Tools (woodworking, power tools. Ideally with batteries)

5. Food (Perishables are OK FOR NOW. Better to eat them first before they possibly spoil)

6. Water (Bottled/potable)

7. Cleaning supplies (detergents, soaps, etc.)

It will be tough. Tougher than any of us can imagine. But remember: you have other people here. Best get acquainted. We all gotta start watching each other's asses.

I couldn't protect Cookie. I ain't making the same mistake again.

✝ PFC Lahti

should probably gather water and eat perishables before the power goes out.

might try and hit the post office in the morning see if my hearing aids ever got delivered
