Survivor Bulletin Board

Here's the plan right now for the "cruise ship expedition".
We will go in two separate groups, one smaller, leading group and one larger, secondary.
The first group, we'll call it Alpha, currently consists of Hicks, Lily, and I.
Everyone else will funnel into the second group, Bravo.
There will be a leader for both groups: Alpha group's leader currently is Hicks, while Bravo's will be determined day of.
Jack has scouted about twenty miles up to the meeting site, once we arrive around that point, Alpha Group will continue while Bravo waits around ten minutes to trail behind.
It will likely be on-foot traveling for these remaining twenty miles.
Jack will trailblaze solo, slightly further ahead of Alpha group.
Once Alpha group reaches the site, we will assess the scene, talk to the occupants, and do our best to determine the safety of Bravo's continuation towards us.
If safety is established, Alpha team will communicate that to Bravo team, otherwise Bravo team and hopefully Alpha will safely retreat and regroup at the twenty mile mark established.
It is of utmost importance that Bravo Team does NOT use their radios in the remaining twenty miles, we do not want our military "hosts" to know that Alpha group is not alone, initially.
If there is an emergency from Bravo team in the rear, handle it among yourselves.
If you have any complaints or suggestions to this plan, talk to Hicks or myself.

*The image above would be crudely drawn (literally lol), pinned next to it is a large note written in red sharpie. Various Highways are closed off and filled with markings of skulls and X's except three routes*

Hello folk, this is just an announcement to all folk, that within two days we shall be making our way to the Evacuation Point. This will be a trial of perseverance and our simple will to survive. New Orleans has completely been stripped of anything useful, its time we made an attempt at rescue, or regret and never know. To be safe, I and various others, including Stephen have planned out various routes and have taken the reigns of leading our clusterfuck of a group. Jack will be ahead of Alpha Team doing advanced Recon for our travel depending on the highway we choose. I don't have much information besides that what I have learned. We will be able to use the vics until about half a click away from said evacuation point. Highways are clogged and the dead are now numbering more and more.

Alpha Team currently consists of myself, Stephen, and Lily, and I will be looking for another candidate in the coming day. If you're interested please reach out to me. We will be secondary recon behind Jack, taking a more direct approach of reaching the Evac Point to clear out a small path for Bravo, there will be a distant/close observation of the Evac Point, and then attempt contact with Military with the safety of the group on mind, this will be handled with care and caution.

Bravo Team will consist of everyone else, remaining as a safety net for Alpha, and keeping Bravo safe from any issues on Alpha's front. Bravo will stick to a more defensive posture and only resume their journey if overwhelmed by the dead or when Alpha Team calls it safe at the Evac Point.

We have a choice between the highways, Green seems more of a straight shot, Red dips more into the suburban neighborhoods of Louisiana, and Blue dips a bit into the Bayou, we'd have to tread carefully not to get our vics stuck.

Okay, I dont know about you guys, but for me, this whole 'moping around' thing has gotten old already.
Yeah, the evac wasnt there and that sucks. But im not ready to just lay down and die yet.

Heard some chatter about the Navy still being alive and kicking, and we still have that other plan, right?
Something about a swamp?

Did we ever look into that or what

*This map would seem to have been roughly made in a quick 30 minutes, various markings mark out two routes, a Green one and a Red one. Accompanying it would be a flag patch, seeming hand sewn*

Hello everyone, I wanted to make sure the community, group, whatever we are, are informed of the current on goings of what we plan to be doing. It has been determined by various group leaders that we'll be heading with the Red Route as proposed by Howard, to head out westward toward Houston and take Highway 69 all the way up north to Oklahoma. This route will take us deep into southern Louisiana and into the deep Bayou, there was a location of interest somewhere just Northwest of here that was learned of by a couple of the group. A military outpost lay somewhere within the Bayou, it'll be up to us as a group to find this location and take any useful supplies we can with us.

To those that may say we shouldn't be on the move and stay put, I ask you bluntly to take a look around NOLA and ask yourselves, if you don't move now, what'll happen when your last bottle of water runs out? We need to move more inland and away from the sea to gain a better understanding of the country at large, and to also revamp our supply issues. The mall drained our supplies when it comes to ammunition, one day it'll be a harder problem to come, but until that day we must scavenge as much as we can. This will be a road trip so we will be bringing everything with us, nothing will be left behind.

As the community guide, I ask for all of you to take this risk to better our outcome. As stated before, God bless this community, God bless humanity. This has been Hicks.

**A small note is written underneath this**

I've got guard duty on the gate tonight so I've taken the liberty of moving most the supplies to the trucks.
I'll be sleeping during the trip since I would have been awake for over twenty four hours by the time you all see this note.
I trust the ones that have stepped up to the occasion to keep control.

Before we leave make sure everything and everyone is accounted for. We don't leave people behind.
Although we expect minimum issues with the route, be prepared that problems will arise. Only so much we can do with a paper map.

Every driver should have the route copied to paper or memory prior to leaving.
This is in case we are separated for whatever reason.
We've made it this far people. We can make it a little more.
See you in the swamp.

The best time to go at the mansion is tomorrow...I'll load up some magazines to prepare. Everyone make sure their thicker clothing is prepared to go in too. I doubt this place is still fully functional.

Be advised: Tomorrow's push will be kept off of the radios until the hour of our departure. I have scouted the route along with a few individuals.
Thanks to Summers' intelligence we think it's worthwhile but it's filled with dead.
Anyone without a radio either buddy pairs with someone that does have one or needs to find one immediately.

I'm back. Sorry for my post-Christmas absence as I wasn't there to mitigate our losses.
Like Jack, I've scouted ahead. I know these marshes pretty well, so I didn't bring back any attention.

Important: Got access to the natural parks outpost a ways from here. Brought back a couple of maps.
Just enough to probably see ourselves to the other end of the marsh and eventually back to the highway.

I'll bring them out @ tonight's meeting before we vacate.
We certainly need to get out of here before mosquitoes pick back up or we run out of food.

Too many wounds. Too many lost.
The Museum was a waste.

We took the sight of another person for granted, and now we have more wounded than we can deal with. Myself included.

While the Park may still be an option, we need to recover. Our bodies and our supplies.

I'm putting my remaining foot down. I want these rules ingrained into everyone's memory:

1. NEVER go alone without another person armed - especially if you're going with a stranger.

2. NEVER agree to stow your weapons without reason.
If we can overpower another survivor or survivors with our own weaponry, we can ensure they aren't a threat.
We should've shot that CIA worker first and asked questions later.

3. Do not trust anyone outside of our group. They need to earn it.

4. You hurt another member of the group, you will answer for it.

I'm done losing people and resources. It's time we start taking them.

I have to agree with them. We should gather together and decide. For now, we need to lick our wounds, and think of the next course of action. I agree with Bill on checking out the park. There might be some supplies there that could be of use. Also while the alarms are going off at the Plantation, this could give us some wiggle room to deal with our neighbors, or at least push more into their territory.

Wait since when? When was the meeting? Who was involved? Did you give her supplies?

1. Last night. 2. Last night. 3. Myself, Lily, McCarthy, and Knight. 4. Yes.

I know that some of you don't agree with letting her live. But the ultimate decision was left to Lily, and she made the hard choice to show mercy.
I think it was the right call.

Besides, we have bigger fish to fry.

I have it on good authority that the President of the United States has been executed
to stop him from authorizing nuclear strikes on population centers to curb
the spread of the infection.

I didn't bring it up sooner because I didn't want to cause panic.
But I think you all have a right to know.

CIA Director, who we met last night, could be rogue.
He tortured Kinslee and I for information. Wanted to know about the rest of you.
Your plans, fears, strengths and weaknesses.

Not sure how the rest of you want to handle that, although I'm in agreement with the Russian that we have to kill him.

Was hoping there would have been a bigger group vote for what to do with the girl, but Lily's vote did hang heavy. Truthfully I'm glad you didn't kill her at least. If she does have a mental illness, then it's on us for not getting the proper medication for her. This could have been avoided possibly.

As for the Director; why he wants to deal with us is odd; absurd even. But they are a threat; almost got us killed with the stunt they pulled.

Circling back; for the future, we absolutely need to be on the lookout for doctors, but maybe someone familiar with pharmaceuticals. Anyone who has any illnesses need to have this addressed, so we don't make this mistake again.

Just had a wonderful conversation with some others in camp about the radio we received from the LT back in the Amusement Park, rest in peace. Had an idea to figure out why we can't get in contact with anyone through it, and luckily someone happened to be listening. Now I know some of y'all are gonna say, naw we should stay put and not move, but this will be something voluntary. I ain't asking everyone to do this, only those who know that they're gonna get the job done efficiently.

Summers had known that the fucks across the river use a set of towers to do their own communications, probably why we have issues sending our own, they probably use some sort of frequency jammer. So I propose tomorrow we all head out and take a look at what these fucks are doin' and get a message out to the Navy. You got any questions..? Come and find me, I guess I'll try to answer them, no promises though.

This is Zach, the walking bush.
