Social Word-of-Mouth Forum

A.A_Piper [OWNER]: Some good news for once, clean water is now running for the entire city and heating has been returned in some area's and should be finished before winter proper begins for most of the city.

One more thing, a few soup kitchens have opened up around the city as well as homeless shelters if anyone wishes to volunteer in them. That being said the delayed Mayor elections for the city of New Orleans are going to begin in November-December with the candidates being for the Democrats Denise Mantrell, Republican Michael Konrad, Libertarian Henry J. Cartman and Independent Franklin Stevens. Ballots open November 21st and the votes will be counted through November up to December.

A.A_Piper [OWNER]: Some bad news I just got while finishing writing the last message. The threat rating for the Garden District and the districts surrounding it have just been raised to Critical amid another smaller brawl this time outside of the Anton Haardt Gallery on the cross roads of Sixth and Magazine Streets.

No bodies were found this time, no injuries but a lot of blood and local security footage depicts a Cartel member with a pitchfork alongside a few other cartel members carrying other various two handed melee weapons brawling against a large 110ers gang member wielding a sledgehammer who was comically dubbed "Big Bubba" by the locals and a few 110er gang members, he wasn't alone also having a handful of 110ers as support. As amusing as the nickname may be he has reportedly managed to kill two of the Cartel members before being forced to pull back with his fellows after getting stabbed by the pitchfork wielding Cartel member in the shoulder.

NOPD managed to reach the scene only after all the bodies were pulled off it supposedly by the gang and cartels respective members, leaving only blood staining the ground.

From the footage seen, no 110er gang members have died though "Big Bubba" may have due to the severity of the injury. Though what can be confirmed that two Cartel members with a possible two more out of the five that attacked the other five 110er's have sustained serious injuries primarily from "Big Bubba".

No further information is available at the current moment.

The current death toll of the Cartel-110er Conflict has been brought up to a potential 56 deaths with confirmed 9 deaths as the hospitalized 110er gang members have confirmed to have succumbed from their injuries.

As of time of writing several smaller shoot outs and brawls have been reported by locals primarily in the Garden District though NOPD has been stretched by the sheer amount of reports. No official statements from the local news sources, city government or NOPD have been made, please stay safe when in and around the Garden District, if possible carry a weapon for self defense, most of the violence has been caused with melee weaponry and brawls, keep that in mind please.

A.A_Piper [OWNER]: Update for the Forum. Added a report system. You can flag a post by commenting on it with a red text. Something like this:

USER VIOLATED RULE XYZ

As a example of course. With that I finally got a proper TOS.

TOS:
1. No advertising without owner consent.
2. No violent imagery/Pornography or other images/videos that might show similar content, do remember this forum is watched by NOPD authorities and I need the advertisers to give me money.
3. This forum is meant to let people know about current happenings around the city, no matter how small. That being said this forum may be used for common communication.
4. No threatening acts of violence against other members. I need to remind you all that this forum is watched by NOPD authorities.

AndMan@CyberCafe [VERIFIED] [MEMBER]: Appreciate the responses. Good to know. Already have enough trouble with getting the systems up and running. Hell, the back office computer & webcam's been FUBAR for two days.

Think it's no secret round here but I'm the guy that's taking over that old abandoned "Barely Legal" stripclub joint on Conti & Burgundy and renovating it for a new club.

A.A_Piper [OWNER]: About that depending on the model or if you have your printer linked to the internet instead of a private network someone can just easily access your webcam. Might be that it was just open for bluetooth connections, pretty easy fix unless you don't want your webcam but its part of your computer (for example like I do on my laptop).

Just go into control panel, go to devices and find your webcam there you can disable or entirely remove the function of it. If you are unsure if that worked then you also can put a piece of tape over it to obscure it.

A.A_Piper [OWNER]: The 110ers and Local Cartel have ceased hostilities for now in order to not disturb Gatorfest.
