I want to start this by saying that I mean no ill will towards staff, and that they have done a great job giving us quality events. This suggestion is also focused on gms/staff who have a prevelant character on the server.
I have noticed that access to important information, items and roles has been generally centered around characters owned by GMs/staff, since the start of the outbreak and the gathering of everyone together. I understand this makes things much easier and simple for staff to keep track of key items and information so they don't have to rely on a player character to make the right decisions to progress the storyline and since player characters may not be around when needed. However this sort of creates this dynamic of players just following the staff characters around as they pull things out their ass and have insider knowledge, which inorganically puts them in a leadership role.
This is just my personal opinion from what I have experienced during my playtime, and its one of the things that annoyed me in MoF. My suggestion is to start trying to offload important information, items and roles towards non-staff characters to make them more relevant. If necessary, staff can give their own characters those things if the player is not around or the situation calls for it, but the focus should be on making every character a little relevant and vital to the storyline rather than just an important few.
