Has to fall on the actual player in most cases. Good faith and all that.Yeah I addressed this in one of my earlier posts. As time goes on, each side is retaliating against perceived unfairness by just being unfair right back. But rather than it balancing out and having two guys with equal unfairness, then the OTHER guy become even more unfair to retaliate. So everyone's tanking and dodging and NEITHER of them are happy about it.
I think using rolls to determine injury can be fair, maybe with each side giving the other a little bit of leeway so that the main cast doesn't just become a bunch of 2-week-old characters when every single veteran dies. Especially considering, you know, a majority of the rebel cast doesn't actually BELIEVE in any cause? And is only really here because a few prominent characters have their respect or trust. If Maddie or Schwarzkopf die we're kind of in deep bantha poo-doo.
Watching my M14 plink off of Zombies instilled the fear of christmas and the coming year in me.weapon rebalance so that I don't have to kill a basic zombie with two to three bodyshots from a Tier 3 bolt action rifle?

Aye, so look-This isn't really server feedback, it's more personal, but I don't want to be an attention whore and make a whole thread about myself so I'm putting it here.
A couple of you already know this but I haven't been the most vocal about it until recently.
Lately, I've been playing Lucas differently than I used to earlier in the storyline.
He's been more assertive, aggressive, and less trusting and forgiving than he used to be.
I did this because I was facing a lot of criticism IC which, to me, felt like it was intended to be received on a meta level, and I thought that I would be making more staff, players and their characters happy if I made these changes to my character.
But then I spent half of white forest, all of pripyat, and all of THIS map getting overwhelming negative reception for the changes that I've been trying to make in order to make other players and characters happy.
So uh, you know what? That sucks. That's not fun.
I'm going to find a way to undo this whole thing and go back to the old Lucas who was polite, trusting, forgiving, and actually enjoyable for me to play.
I don't know if I should just give him memory loss from a concussion, have him take mushrooms and vividly hallucinate Karol Norin-Rudstrom putting him back on the right path, or some other thing.
But either way I'm done listening to all the shit suggestions I get for my character.
I'm going to keep beating up Bogdan and simping for Red Peril and every other controversial change is going in the trash.
Thanks for listening love you guys sorry if I upset you
No seriously this... I mean there would need to be a lot of testing in general, but some weapons (especially like shotguns), have different damages.. so like some are WAY better than like the Tier 4s, which is wild. (Also, Tier 4 sniper when?)weapon rebalance so that I don't have to kill a basic zombie with two to three bodyshots from a Tier 3 bolt action rifle?

Tier 4 prolly gonna be a PTSR or .50 tbh.No seriously this... I mean there would need to be a lot of testing in general, but some weapons (especially like shotguns), have different damages.. so like some are WAY better than like the Tier 4s, which is wild. (Also, Tier 4 sniper when?)
Poggers. And TBH, definitely wasn't as bad as M9K TnB days LOL. You just get clipped by a single pellet and you were pretty much down for the count XDTier 4 prolly gonna be a PTSR or .50 tbh.
Weapon edits will be added to the change list too. Some are wildly inconsistent and occasionally Gmod is to blame for it. Regardless I’ll up the damage on them.
Don't think that voiding or ignoring Lucas' change is the right call. You can obviously change his attitude but there has been no "controversial" change I have noticed. Lucas has progressed as a character and as an acting leader. Sometimes you'll get the tough decisions that people won't agree with you on - that's what a leader has to deal with. They'll comment and say stuff, but remember that it's all IC. No one ACTUALLY hates the player behind the character. This isn't really server feedback, it's more personal, but I don't want to be an attention whore and make a whole thread about myself so I'm putting it here.
