MIdSeason Feedback

It was a good event with decent story. I'm a little sad that the ending was just 'everyone there gets put in the void indefinitely' though. Those kinds of endings always bothered me even if there is more promised later. I was hoping to have Alina retire a different way instead of being stuck with this band of misfits for all of eternity.

The event itself though was good. Big events like this struggle with confusion and missed actions when you are doing S2RP in this style so it's not unwarranted, but there was some of that. Little frustrations here and there, but overall I enjoyed myself during it.

You aren't in a Gman void...I'll just spoil that. It's something else entirely! I think you'll like what we got planned.

Glad to hear that u enjoyed yourself :)

I didn't have the same level of attachment to our characters as everyone else did since I'm fairly new but it was a fun event. Sad that I came around right at the end of Mirage; I look forward to Oasis.

I had a pretty alright time on this iteration. The event did what it needed to do well enough, shook things up with the turret section, fighting didn't necessarily feel forced.

The ending sequence, when we arrived at the admin's office, closed things off well enough, but to me it felt forced in how we just sort of accepted the Administrator's surrender? We didn't get a "I'm pleading for my life, but actually it's a trap" moment where we killed his guards and then sicked the guns on him, and I felt like that kind of took me out of things. We'd been fighting for probably the equivalent of half an hour in real time and now we're just so tuckered out at the end? Maybe this is me complaining about something that should've been handled in-character, but I digress

Other than that, I can only hope what comes next can be better, in its own way - and I look forward to the SFS to give us something new.

The administrator surrendered to YOU guys. its why both the guards executed themselves and he bit down on cyanide. He won but was used as bait and fell to the might of you guys.

Essentially it was just supposed to be a big reveal that the Combine were gathering rebels close to the Citadel through nexus attacks + main attack and they blew it completely to flood the rebels out. Basically using it as a huge bomb.

I do get it tho, on my end I was a bit sloppy at the end due to general fatigue and such.

Truth nuke. Almost entirely my thoughts. I had a feeling this would be the end since this MAJOR event didn't have a single piece of loot anywhere. I do like that you guys tried to hint at the ending with the garbled radio comms, it made sure that the ending didn't feel out of nowhere.

Anyways my actual feedback was posted in the other thread that was started like a week ago asking for our thoughts.

I just feel like it would've had more continuity if we actually followed through on killing them, even if their plan was to detonate the citadel in the midst of the war petering out. I'm sure the higher command would've seen that coming anyways.

Mhm! I would've easily allowed a battle if it was started. Infact I was kinda expecting to turn around for the window and just get gatted lmfao.

Kinda my fault too on this I made everyone stand down. I probably could've elaborated more on my reasoning for that at the time.

If we did just straight up kill him, would anything have changed? Or would we still be equally fucked.

As Terrafryer said. The entire point was to get you guys up there to leave things on a ‘cliffhanger’ of sorts. This little ending is meant to leave things unresolved.
