ABOUT: Race X Shock Troopers.

MESSAGE: Attention all fighters in Kampfgruppe 14. I have taken the liberty to test some of our fire arms against the 'carapace' of the Race-X Shock Troopers.

Calibers tested. 9mm, .45 ACP, 5.7mm, .357 Magnum, 5.45x39mm, 7.62x39mm, 5.56x45mm.

All Calibers below 5.7mm failed to scratch the armor. Calibers from 5.7 to 7.62x39mm deflected at a rounding percentage of 40% at and angle of 30 degrees, 70% at 60 degrees and effectively 100% deflection rate at 80 degrees and above.

With this information in mind we advise frontal attacks from weapons in the intermediate cartridge to be used when threatened only and anything below that range to be never used. It is certain to get yourself and someone else killed. Attacking these creatures in the back with these caliber rounds however seems 'semi effective' for lack of a better term. The bullets will pierce the skin and cause internal damage yet my cursory look at their anatomy fills me with no certainty exactly where is the best place to shoot these creatures. I will be performing a full scale autopsy this afternoon to find what we may assume are vital organs.

Closer looks into their eye socket and the membrane that protects it is a pressing priority. I request that if we encounter these creatures again we avoid damaging these regions so I can study it in more depth.

MESSAGE: Attention! VITAL INFORMATION. The weapon these creatures use are another organism and WILL attack anything near itself whenever removed from the Trooper. It is insectoid in nature and still able to spit a heated plasma like element at creatures that threaten it. Closer examination also leads me to believe that the projectile it spits out reaches temperatures of nearly 1,000 degrees Celsius based on damage found on Lucas, the surrounding walls, and the level of instantaneous burns. This alone means that contact with exposed flesh not protected by heat resistant materials, Kevlar, or plates for plate carriers will create instant third degree electrical, chemical, and thermal burns.



ADDENDUM: DO NOT ENGAGE THESE TARGETS WITHOUT PROPER PLANNING. TWO TROOPERS ALONE NEARLY KILLED 6 TO 7 FIGHTERS LAST NIGHT.
